This a reminder that we have a performance on Thursday,16th April during the upper sec assembly. So please be prepared.

AND most importantly: TAKE CARE OF YOUR VOICE!
Please drink truckloads of water and avoid spicy and fried food this week! Chocolates, ice cream and chips should be taken out of your diet this week too. Keep yourself constantly hydrated too yeah? After the SYF you can go mad on all these foods!:D

Good job for friday! I think we pulled it off with aplomb! A Personal Entry.

I guess a few of you who chanced upon this blog last night would have realised the disturbing tags by someone who claims to be "spoon". I think it doesn't matter who tagged, but to me, I would say it's quite sad to have such a chorister amongst us. This is the furthest assumption I derive, as this blog is password protected. But I'm not claiming that I'm 100% right about my assumption because others could've known our password by accident or otherwise.

This is for whoever named his/herself SPOON... well, firstly, for using osp's name(which she is still unaware of), I'm not sure if you want to try that again because she'd probably be mad. who knows. That's not my point. Second tag - I shall not act dumb/stupid. Though you were cleary referring to Jeannette(who doesnt exist), I would take it that you're referring to me(Jeanette) since you stated "chairman". If you think that by saying such a thing about me is going to affect me, think again. Bluntly speaking, I think it's very childish of you to do that, because I would think that a person who's more mature in his/her thinking would tell me directly if I upset him/her or do anything that sucks whatsoever. third tag - That wasn't needed. It's quite a weird yet disturbing insult. Just a quick reminder: you should've seen over these few years how people can get charged for blogging certain stuff. I'm sure they could do the same for tags. Their higher-tech equipment and devices can probably track you down better than the IP(which was probably from the school computers).

Well well well.. just who are you. I really want to know who tagged that. Not because I plan to hate that person forever(call me a hypocrite, but I mean what I say), but I want to know what's wrong. It's not right for us to have such weird conflicts FIVE days before syf. If you're really unhappy, I want you to raise the problem up and not start shooting profanities and personal attacks on me or the choir. Please do not think I'll just give this up and leave the choir because I've been through more than just this. Maybe it's normal to have people who hate you for being the leader. Don't get me wrong, I am not being against you in anyway here, I just want what's best for everyone(call me a hypocrite again if that makes you any happier). Besides, in 5 days, you'd probably do not have to see my face appearing during choir anymore unless you're going for the genting trip. I'm stepping down in 5 days. - If that's what makes you happy. And though I can roughly guess who tagged, I think it's better if I do not make such risky assumptions.

To those who replied the tags: chill too, sometimes it's not worth your energy rebutting their comments. but thank you! :)

To the sec 1s: Please ignore the tag that was directed to you. really, just ignore it. It's no use pondering over such silly stuff.

To the rest of the choristers: Though people may be out there cursing and swearing that we're in for nothing more than a COP, let's just prove them wrong. Maybe results do matter but it'd be meaningless if no one even tries to cooperate. we can do this together yes? Even if things turn out bad, i.e. COP, we still have the genting trip and afterwhich another syf in 2 yrs' time. But otherwise, let's just do our best, and(if you believe) leave the rest to God.

Practice dates and times.
1) Friday practices will be lengthened to end at 6.30pm instead of the usual 5.30pm with effect from Term 2.

2) Additional practices on saturdays (9am to 1pm) with effect from 24/3/2007. Please let Wen Ching, Farah, Charmaine or Jeanette know if you can/cannot make it for saturday practices ASAP.

SEC ONES/NEW MEMBERS!.
Girls: You need to get BLACK court shoes for syf. You can get them from bata. Think it costs smth like $20 or slightly less. Of course you can get it from elsewhere. It's up to you but you need your shoes by 23 March. We will be practising walking with our court shoes from 26 March onwards, so that you'll get used to wearing them. (which means you should get ready some plasters in case you get blisters :X) If you want to, you may leave your court shoes in the choir room so you won't have to bring it every time we have practice.

Guy(s?): You need a long sleeved shirt, tie(not school tie Please!), covered shoes and of course trousers. For more info, contact Charmaine.

Note to all: We'll have a full dress rehearsal about two weeks before we go for SYF, which means you'll all have to bring your FULL UNIFORM.

For now, those who have yet to memorise the lyrics of the three songs, please do so. Not just the lyrics but the rhythm and pitch too! =) The songs are there for you to listen and practise. For those of you who know the password to this blog, please tell your friends who don't. Also, help to convey the message to those who are unable to access this site because they're using internet explorer 7.

Quite a few have been asking abt 15 dec's performance... so here's it...

15 dec 2006.
songs > ALL the x'mas carols we've learnt. A lot to memorise but memorise as much as possible.
attire > pink choir tshirt & jeans. SHOES.
meeting venue > CHOIR ROOM. we will be practising before going to sing to the people at the home.
meeting time > 9.30am

Hey people! you all did well today... Quite a few people didnt turn up, the place was open-air & the mics didnt pick up much but you all were great! :) There's still room for improvement though..

Dec practices:

15th (friday) >> 9.30am (carolling at bishan home)
Try to memorise the x'mas carols as much as you can.. I'll try to find out which are the ones we're performing and update you soon.

18th(monday), 19th(tuesday) and 21st(thursday) >> 10am
Mdm yeong comes at 10am, so try to be in school slightly earlier to get ready :)

Highlights on Malacca Trip. (=

1.Newly invented "thank u for the music".

gold-sequined underwear, coconut boobs by oonie. haha.

2. cockroach face.

4. we've learnt tat oonie can pole dance as well as be a pole for the pole dancer. woots!

5. next time when u turn on the tv, watch out for the newest tv show "Ospa worlds' no. 1 best comedian.. starring oon su ping & priscilla chong"

6. oh yes! oonie jiejie's turtle shell aka her home where there's anything u can find in a normal home. got toilet and blah blah.

9. oonie finally got to play mini golf.
